Most definitely a cell phone. Back in the days if I wasn't home I was working, if I wasn't at work or at the house then I'm out and about and don't want to be disturbed.
The cell made it possible for us to be contacted or disturbed (cuz we can't hide) anytime, any place, anywhere.
Emergencies you say? How often do they really come up to justify not being able to be not reached.
I believe the cell made us lose that privacy, our own time, etc.

i don't have... cell phone, mp3 player, tivo, microwave, i don't personally own this computer either.
between washer and automobile, i'd say automobile. although i just spent a year without a car but i was in an urban area.

Since the computer is the greatest invemtion ever made by man at this current time I would go with tivo since I can use my computer as a tivo

Wow, I was originally going to say my computer. But after thinking about it somewhat, I think I would hate scrubbing my clothes on a washboard, especially when the water is damn cold, and then waiting for them to dry more than anything. Even though I don't wash clothes that often, the alternative is worse. I choose F. Washer/Dryer
