Make lists of everything, so you don't have to rely on your memory.
Plan ahead. If you're going somewhere tomorrow put everything you'll need to bring in one place (a dining room table or hall table), so all you'll have to do is grab everything as you leave. If there are people to call or see, leave a list of them as well.
Keep a tote bag, handbag or bag with you at all times, and keep everything in it - all in that one place.
So if you keep lists all you'll need to do is know where your lists are. If you have stuff to take with you or have with you when you're out that stuff will either be waiting on a table before you go or else in the bag once you're out.
