At the moment 2 months + as up stream of Windsor is closed for sluice repairs. About 35-45hrs cruising thou from Teddington. to Henley time will be based mainly on portage at locks and the gaps seem to be perfectly irregular so no matter what time you start at teddington you will hit a lock at prime time and have to wait, which adds the hours. Past Henley always a lot quieter.

Thats a very hard question to answer, it really depends on the boat that you have and what time of year.
Before enbarking on your journey check with British Waterways to make sure that the pasage is open and the locks on route are not getting repaired or the journey will take longer then expected.
Get the route in a book (marinas stock the books) they will give a general idea of time to each lock.
I bought a canal boat and had to move it a few years ago and the journey should have taken a week and took over 2 months due to a lock getting damaged, we checked with british waterways and they said it would be open by the time we got there but it wasn't.
This time of year many locks are getting repaired so check your route

try this on-line tool, i use it to print out all our itineries.
http://www2.mihalis.net/canal/cgi-bin/canal.cgi?m=js;
Then i lose them in the first pub stop !
It tells me:
Total distance is 94 miles, 7¾ flg and 33 locks.
Made up of 0 miles, 1 furlong of narrow canals; 0 miles, 1 furlong of small rivers; 94 miles, 5¾ furlongs of large rivers; 1 narrow lock; 32 large locks.
This will take 34 hours, 32 minutes which is 3 days, 7 hours and 32 minutes at 9 hours per day.
You've got to admit it, its a class answer well worth 10 points.
only joking.
hope the trip goes well, check for stoppages first.

That's not a fair question really. If I was skipper of the canal boat I would probably stop at every pub on route and the journey could well take me a lifetime.
