Yes there is magic and so also magicians. It is an art to be acquired with great dedication, and single focused mind...
Many renowned magicians have proclaimed to dispel all doubts about misconception regarding magic, to be some kind of mystic power or so..

Well there is the fake magic as in magicians and its all just in good fun.
But there is true magick out there, centuries old. Theres herb work and spell and potions and incantations that all can work if one honestly believs. No one cannot point and have an elephant in the middle of a room , but magick works slowly and beautifully.

The art of deception, that is what magic is. It's genuine and it's artificial. It's real fake if you know what I mean. We can train our minds to believe anything as being real. Trickery and Deception, a form of entertainment; that's MAGIC.

Yes it does exist, I am a practicing wiccan with over 17 years of casting experience. Magic is Real, as real as the flesh on your body. It's made up of energy and consciousness that surrounds us and permeates us. You can use this energy to mold a life for the better (Blessings) or for the worse (Hexs & Curses) If you need help in any area of life you can always ask for help. My website is https://www.etsy.com/shop/MagixMysteries. If you have any questions as well I'll be happy to answer them :)

Take care :)

Magic is real !
Magicians are people.
Magic is the ability to change something that is into something completely different
Try making a poor person feel rich,
A suicide wanting to live,
A sick person well,
A suffering victim happy
A toilet roll into a toy,
A blind man see
A man on the moon,
a photo from inside the sun
all = magic
Depends on how you look at it

Magic and sorcery are the influencing of events, objects, people and physical phenomena by mystical or paranormal means. The terms can also refer to the practices employed by a person to wield this influence, and to beliefs that explain various events and phenomena in such terms.

Magic may be used for good or ill. White magic is a common term for healing, divination and other benign uses of magic, and black magic is malicious or harmful use of magic.

From the point of view of adherents of Christianity, the terms "magic" and "wizardry" connote practices involving collusion with devils, demon-gods, or Satan himself, and this has inspired persecution of those seen as practicing magic, most notably during the witch trials of early modern Europe. In this sense, the term 'magic' is typically outdated, although in the direct quotation of religious scripture it may have some limited usage in modern times.

Originally referring to the older Zoroastrian Magi (i.e. sages, priests), the term "magic" became a negative term and among the followers of the Judaic religion was recorded into Western history with its denigrating meaning. In times of antiquity, practitioners of other religions were accused of practicing magic (though the adherents of Christianity and Islam were never accused of this on any large scale).

In the Middle Ages, what we now call "science" began to develop, partially through alchemy. Alchemy attempted to codify specific methodology for the mechanical achievement of tasks which most considered to be important, such as the healing of illnesses and the making of wealth (gold etc). Whereas religion advocated a faith-based deference to matters of spirit, alchemy played a significant role in developing human curiosity about the natural world into a systemic structure of beliefs and practices. It is from alchemy that our modern concept of wizardry and magic come from; as a kind of melding of spirituality and methodical and professional investigation into the mysterious or "arcane."

Magic to me is two things, one of which was already mentioned here by one of your other answerers - "the unexplained science"

Magic is the name we give to occurances that we cannot otherwise explain - some call them miracles, and attribute them to God

The second thing Magic is to me is: the conscious use of focused will to bring about change.

The ability to get people to post these kinds of questions on bulletin boards and to get fools like me to answer them. That's magic - or at the very least sleight of hand.

Magic is the joy of un-explained science
