My cursor has a mind of its own. My laptop is a Dell and is great except the cursor sometimes just glides along on its own like its ice skating. I play lots of games and it just wanders away sometimes. Its very frustrating. Can someone PLEASE help me. I can't afford to take it to t/repair shop. Thank you in advance.

nothing like virus in this case. By laptop i assume u r using the in-built mouse pad for moving the cursor and playing games(obviously), but as many people would be knowing mouse pads aren't great for playing games. they r a little more sensitive and their 'gliding away' is common, i would suggest that u better buy an external USB mouse compatible with ur laptop to play games(and that wont cost much too)
best of luck!

If you are using any optical device with your laptop, such as an optical mouse then that device should not be placed on a glossy surface, instead kept on a piece of cloth to avoid automatic cursor movement
