YES. In international flights, all cabin crews have to go through customs and baggage checks like any other passenger, but most of the time, they have a counter for themselves, so they dont have to stand in loooong queues.
On domestic flights they are not required to carry their passports as is the case with any other passenger.
.....and its CABIN CREW or stewards and stewardesses. "Air Hostess" is an old usage i guess...!!
