ya kinda.
just be the man ok?
suck it up whatever it was. think professionally about it. dont let it ruin your day or bother you for another second unless you think its gonna happen again.
in that case make sure you pull them aside and privately discuss the matter.
if you think doing so would be frivolous then perhaps what you are worried about itself is frivolous.
relax.

No, take the 'high road' even when he / she does not. If you choose to 'cop an attitude' this will just make you a target for this person, and make your life even more miserable, which is a shame because as a manager myself one of the most important jobs I have is to keep Harmony with the employees of the company I work for. It's not always easy, and sometimes personalities just do not 'mesh' but there is no excuse for abuse of an employee. Do your best at work, be polite but remember that you are entitled to be treated with respect, which in turn makes your job more enjoyable. If for some reason this does not work, or becomes worse there should be a hotline that you can call, explain the situation, be HONEST, because there are most likely others that have seen this, or are going through the same thing, and they may be questioned. You can do this without anyone knowing who you are, so you will be protected. I hope that this helps, and that things get better for you!

I've always had the best luck with sitting down one-on-one with my boss and talking to him/her about what's bothering me. That way, they're at least aware of the problem, and they know that something needs to be fixed. If they don't respond well to that, then I would definitely start looking for another job, because they're not the kind of person I would want to work for long-term.

It depends on the circumstances. it is almost always best to just sweep it under thr rug. Some people like feeling powerful and if you show them you were bothered by thier actions they may continue this with you. try to look the other way and refuse to play thier childish games.
