Rhythm means repetitive pattern in sounds. Recognizing it and reflecting it in your dancing means dancing to the rhythm of music, or simply dancing to music.

Like you said, it means that dancers understand the beat of music and they follow it with their moves. Their moves might be good or they might be rather simple. As long as they don't contradict the rhythm you can say they are dancing to the beat of music, or have a dood rhythm

that means they can creatively put good moves together, become one with the music and get lost in it. Lost in the beat. like its inside your body. but you need to have an ear for the notes and repetitions- drum beats which can be high or low. there usually is a basic 2/4 beat and your body moves to it primarily and if you can add moves between it and still stay with beat youve got the rythm. It looks really nice all put together.

What they mean is that if you have the rythm of the dance you truly accept it and just go along with the flow of it and if you have the rythm you dont force your body to move the way it does it just moves that way because you are beiliving the music, trust me i am a professional dancer at the hartu academy of dance its in a small town but man they etach well.
