Sudafed decongestant is the best i've found, it really does work, unlike a lot of others. There's tablets, liquid or nasal spray, I personally find that the liquid works best for me, but everyone's different.
Check with the pharmacist that there would be no bad interactions with what you're already taking and then try it.

Hi there. Ok so you went to the doctor and are on meds. Careful with codine, very addictive.
For a stuffy nose I have used many things, here are a few that have helped
put a few drops of eucalyptus essential oil on your pillow at night before going to bed, that can help clear your sinus.
take some distilled water, some kosher salt , I would say about as salty as the ocean water. Warm the water a bit, try it on the inside of your wrist ( the warmth) then take a clean squirt bottle and tilt your head back and gently flush your nose. It will not suffocate you , but you have to do it little by little and not get excited about the process. Then you tilt your head foward and let the water come out, along with mucus and yucky stuff.
Go to a allergy doctor, that might be the problem
Try to get a xray of your head to see if your sinus is clogged or you need antibitocis.
you can also take some water and boil it, add some vicks vapor rub and inhale the vapors. Careful not to burn yourself.
wish you the best , and a speey recovery.
Love, light and peace

Squeeze a lemon into a cup, add a spoon of honey and add some hot water. This should help ... also add some raw garlic to your dinner ... this will definately clear the stuffy nose. You could also get some Karvol, from the Chemist, put a few drops on your clothing and you should get instant relief.

Only cure for a sore throat is warm water with lemon and honey in and 2 disolvable aspirin :o) (also helps relieve other symptoms) and olbas oil on a bit of tissue and the odd whiff of it for a stuffy nose.

Have a few sniffs of tiger balm for your nose. For your sore throat try honey and lemon in hot water (or lemsip, may be all chemically but it works like magic). Hope you feel better soon, i've managed to avoid winter sniffles so far but am sure i'll come unstuck soon, they're horrible!

You poor thing! I'd first take a hot shower to open the nasal passages then buy some cough drops and continue to consume them till your throat is soothed and your nasal passages are open. This will work- I've been there.

I would try two things here a humidifier, and vicks vapor rub that will generally help you with your stuffy nose. Please follow the instructions on the back of the bottle of Vick's Vapor rub. I hope this helps eleviate the stuffy nose that you are experiencing.

I do think it is the time of the year, but i always believe in going to the pub or staying at home and get drunk, you never seem to have a cold when you are drunk.
it does for some strange reason dry the cold up!
