They can be. It depends upon the

car. Add some nice wheels, and this

will help the color tremendously. It seems

as though silver is becoming the most pop-

ular color nowadays. This color doesn't have

much personality -pretty blah for the most part.

They've become a bit too common, but I don't think common and boring are the same thing.
However, some cars really suit silver (e.g. Mk IV Golf), others don't (e.g. Mégane II hatchback, especially the 3-door which looks far better in Ottoman blue). I have the suspicion that some manufacturers only use silver Dynoc on their styling models, which means that all their cars end up looking good in silver, whereas other companies use different colours, so their cars look better in whatever colour they were designed in.

Guess it depends what make of car you're talking about. My last car was a silver ford fiesta and was really boring but I once saw a shining silver Ferrari parked in the city centre and trust me, it was ANYTHING but boring!!!

Oh God yes silver cars are boring and bland. Even the Delorean couldn't make it in its original finish and many owners opted for aftermarket color. How many silver Ferraris, Lambos, Porsches, etc. do you see on the roads? It is just not a color that inspires any feeling.

Hell NO....I have a Chrome Silver Nissan 350Z and it's anything BUT boring. I get compliments all the time.

Silver looks good on most any car...I WILL tell you what colors ARE boring: Brown, Tan, and Green (BARF!)

The color silver is relatively easy to maintain compared to other colors and this is one reason it has become too common and unexciting especially for those who want to stand out from the crowd. But in my opinion, this does not necessarily make the color boring.

I was always told that people who drive silver cars are the safest drivers....not too sure if that means they are boring or not! ha ha!

Yes and silver mercs are even more boring, even if it is, or was, the national racing colour.
Mind you I wish my black car was as easy to keep looking clean.....
