No, I don't think I'll go opening day, but, sometimes before Christmas. I've been really surprised to see the early reviews have been very good.
Here's a quote from one of the reviews.
"Sure, there are corny moments and sappy clichés, but “Rocky Balboa” also has a lot of heart and soul. This movie is a crowd pleaser that comes out swinging. What really makes the final installment of the Rocky franchise so moving is that Stallone remains true to his original character, returning to his humble origins, reconnecting with what made him so endearing in the first “Rocky,” and allowing him to age gracefully. Stallone doesn’t hide the fact that Rocky is well past his prime, from the close-ups of his lined face to his stiff, awkward movements as he gets in shape and trains for the climatic bout. Rocky may not be as nimble as he used to be, but he still has a heart of gold. So put on your red boxing gloves and start chanting: Rocky!, Rocky!, Rocky! In a season of high profile films, this is one underdog that can go the distance."
So, if early news is right, sounds like it's going to be a hit.

At first i thought it was preposterous for a fity-something Rocky to be boxing again, but then i remembered that George Foreman did it in reality. besides i saw the trailer and i think it may actually be quite good. Rocky five was aweful and i reckon that if Rocky Balboa is as good as it looks then it would be a far more fitting way to end of the series.
