I wrote a letter to my congressman stating that i feel the year is to long and that we should take 2 months out to make the year run for 10 months. I recieved a reply basically saying that the ide was unfeasible
What do you think of my idea of taking 2 months out of the year? would you sign a petition in support of it?

You'll hear your idea back soon enough. He'll decide that thats the best way to increase annual GDP and mfg production figures and introduce a bill in the interest of propping up the dollar. It'll reduce the defecit too as they are only spending money for 10 months instead of 12. He'll take credit for your idea.

I am so used to 12 months, only having 10 would seem weird. And who would decide which 2 months to get rid of?

It's a nice idea, mister. But I really like the number 12- you can divide it very nicely into 4 seasons...can't do that with 10.
