really cold with big lacy snowflakes falling silently in the moonlight and then sitting by a warm fire hearing only the crackle of the embers

It depends on humidity. If it's humid, I prefer a comfortable 22 degrees Celsius. Not humid, up to about 25 degrees Celsius is nice. However, after moving to Japan, 22 degrees feels cold, and I've become accustomed to 30+ degrees in summer. 28 degrees is nice for me now.

most definitley NOT hot...a cool 65 degrees with just enough clouds in the sky to create a bit of shade. in the afternoon it would cool down to 60 degrees cause it would be warm from the sun being up from the rest of the day.

60degrees with the sun shinning. That way you can be busy outside and not sweat to death or worry about a jacket. that is great weather for short sleeves, now if the wind is blowing and it's cloudy 60degrees can seem like 40.
