I find that when I'm alone I can go to places where no one can ever take me but I have been took for a ride during a relationship that was the best thing that had ever happened to me and I would have missed out if I had not agreed to go on the journey to be alone.

Being taken to new places is much nicer than having to explore new places yourself. Having someone show you around in their hometown or country is a luxury and a treat!
And yes, Boston inspired me too
