He outplayed Kobe Bryant tonight, scored 60 points and is constantly among the highest scorers in the NBA. Yet I don't even see him mentioned that much, what more does the guy need to do? Simply one of the best guards in the game.

Gilbert is definately my favorite player in the NBA. Every night he he can give you 25-5-5 at least. The beginning of the season he was in a slump but now he's doing much better and i hope he makes the all star game. He's been underrated a long time and I'm glad to see he's finally getting some publicity. I think him winning the scoring duel with kobe just goes to show Arenas is one of the elite players in the nba.

He is a great player he just don't play D and he is a ball hog though he don't make his teamates better he a did a good job tonight though but for the most part if you can't play d you don't win titles. But He is a great scorer and has one of the quickest first steps in the league but you know kobe is going to go off on them the next time he might score 90 against them the next time.

He is very much underrated...the problem is the 2 teams that he has played for in his career (Golden State and Washington)...have been reputable losers over the past 8 or 9 years or so...so if his teams win more (which means he needs to be surrounded by better talent)...then you will hear of him in a larger light...

He's one of the best.... no doubt about it. I agree with you man, I mean, we hear of Gerald Green's windmill dunk more than Arenas' flurry of 3's, points, steals, etc. Wait, before any of that! HE WAS A SECOND ROUND DRAFT PICK!! He's underrated as hell, but I think he won't be much in the "spotlight" if he cannot raise his team up to at least the second round in playoffs in the league's worst conference (East). But he's on his way this year, call it a breakout year, shall we? :-)

i agree, gilbert arenas is very underated.there are a number of reasons for this. first, he doesnt play for a marquee team (remember clyde drexler with portland) so that brings his name down. second, he didnt have a sneaker ad until recently and that really adds to a player's rep. this 60 outing will definitely make him more well known especially doing it against kobe.
