I'm from Singapore and someone from USA send me a transfer order by Online Banking of Bank of America. I'm not sure whether is it a con or not? The confirmation email comes from Transfer@BankofAmerica.com. I can't get the money unless I send the item. I need to scan the receipt and send it to transferdeptII@emailaccount.com. I wonder why they don't use the BankofAmerica email account. I called the US BoA customer service line but it seem there is no way for me to get to the customer service officer. Can someone help me?

I don't have a account with BoA so I can't get the email account address. The BoA website is so confusing.

Do not ship anything unless you have the money into your account.

Beware of phishing sites (fake websites that appear to be bank of america or any other)

Always check that the domain you are in correspond to the official website of the bank or institution:

i.e http://www.bankofamerica.com

instead of http://www.bank-of-america.com or anything else

this is very important to consider

chek the padlock sysmbol in any webpage where you input sensitive information
