They have done this since the beginning of God 5000 years ago.
But today,,,it is not such a good idea.
Since the sexual revolution and women independance...marriage is a lot more complicated that it used to be.
Marriage should only be based on pure solid love these days.
Any man who marry with the thought that he can treat his wife as a servant is heading for doom. Don't laugh...many still do.

To each his own. IMHO, with all the divorce going on, I would have to know the person for a while and well before doing the big deed.

Marriage is far more protective than any other relationship for both man and woman.
