I'm adding a new pci express card to my PC , i can use the new card but the shared system RAM is still being used by the onboard card.

1. Right Click on My Computer.
2. Click "Manage.."
3. Select "Device Drivers"
4. Expand "Display Adaptors"
5. Disable the "Intel..... Display Adaptor"
6. Restart the PC.

Note: Before doing the above, make sure that your monitor is connected to your new video card..

Look for an option to disable it in the BIOS.

Right click on my computer-->properties--->Hardware tab--->device manager---->find the hardware and right click, scroll down and disable :D
