Not showing up in court is a bad idea. You will be convicted in absentia (and even if you have a lawyer, he'll have a hard time helping you if you don't come without having gotten previous assent from the judge on that point).

Plus you'll have an aggravated record, there will be a warrant on you, and all manners of bat stuff.

Better delay your moving, or make arrangements to be there. Contact the judge and you lawyer ASAP to get everything squared up.

Not going to court will result in both the suspension of your licence and a bench warrant for your arrest being issued.
Depending on whether or not Michigan and Florida have a reciprocity agreement (highly probable) you could be arrested in Florida to answer to the charge in Michigan.

You not only will lose your license a bench warrant will be issued for your arrest. Florida and MI are very cooperative in their licensing process you must hand in your old license to getting new one. Go to court get over with its the easiest way.

IF IT DOES NOT SHOW IN YOUR RECORD IN FLORIDA IT WILL SHOW UP SOMEOTHER PLACES THAT YOU WILL BE SORRY ABOUT THAT YOU DID NOT PROPERLY ATTEND TO IT, FINISHED THE CASE BEFORE YOU MOVE ANYPLACE ELSE, IF ITS ONLY A MISDEMEANOR YOU WILL JUST PAY A FINE AND PAY IT AND SETTLE IT!
