Yes! We built it in a tree on the open fields, at the back of the houses where I live, with wooden pallets and made a thatched roof out of pine tree prunings! A few weeks after we built it some wasps decided to move in and make a nest. It's still there though, 26 years later, but it could do with some repairs!
It was nice to remember my dim and distant youth, by answering your question!...

We kind of had some... I lived at a property that had a rainforest for a while... We did have a Swiss family Robinson type tree with ropes (cursory of rRgwah) and a few other things, platforms, a tree house that you crawed up the inside of the tree to get too and a cool handmade bridge for a river that was there.... Being in that environment as a kid was just awesome! xx

It was a very interesting game…
We actually built it with, wood, card board (Cartons), Plastic sheets, Galvanized Zinc...

ya , then it collapsed from the tree . after a week of use .
