I ask this because Yahoo! customer service is closed. Anyways, I want to know if I can transfer the service to my dorm room in college next month without having to cancel it at my current address.

You'll have to wait until customer service opens again; they're the only ones that can properly answer this. In most cases, internet service providers will facilitate a change of address, however your new address (in this case, your college dorm room) has to also be in a location where they offer service, and this is not always the case. You will have to contact them to see if DSL service is available in the area you are moving to.

Hello! Yes you can however, 3 weeks is a very short time.

when you place a dsl order, it will take a total of 10 days for the dsl to be activated from the date of the order. now, if you "MOVE" (that's the term used when you want to transfer the dsl service on a different address/location), it will take 7 days for the "move" order to take effect and another 7 days for the service to be activated on your new address.

for more infos., call AT&T Internet Sales during business hours.
