No. I went to AA for 3 years for the time of the 80s - it became a blokes' club and somewhat misogynist. I went alongside with the great 'god' thingy cos i had to get sober and function some administration in my existence. no be counted if it became a him, or a her, that i did no longer have faith in, hardly gave the impression to be counted - she coulda had ten teats and 2 heads - I used the fellowship and the essence of the serenity prayer (settle for it or substitute it) to maintain me right this moment and sober - 'God' had no longer something to do with it - i'm to blame for a fashion I habit my existence no longer some legendary sky swooper. I lasted yet another seven years until now I drank returned. those days I somewhat have a pair or 3 to be sociable - i do no longer omit it if I somewhat have none. I digressed somewhat, huh? Sorry. :) .

Try having a look through the categories of Yahoo! Groups, and select a few Public ones to join - but ONLY if they have lots of Mail activity 'cos otherwise you'll be left alone.

This site is pretty great for meeting new people. It allows you to meet people from your local area as well as the rest of the world. You design your owen page for people to view, giving it a personal touch.

I find MSN to be the best way to meet people online - you can have in-depth conversations and meet so many people.
