Do you believe that there is a government in the shadows? That we are being watched? That there is an elite group trying to control the way we think by controlling media outlets, news, country-leader?

If you answered yes, what do you think the ultimate goal of the conspirers is? Wealth? Power? Or is it something else...

If you answered no... how could you convince someone who truly believe in such a conspriacy that it is nonexistent?

Absolutely yes.

As far as you actual question in reference to their end goal, the answer is basically suppressing the masses. You see, throughout history, capitalist regimes have resulted in the masses revolting. If you pay close attention to legislation, you will find some significant changes in media laws that started in the 80s.

It used to be where the media had a legal duty to report a percentage of their time to legislation or political issues concerning the country. This was undone. Why? To keep us oblivious.

I once watched this great arthur who is dead now on PBS's Charlie Rose. His name was Arthur Schlesinger(spelling on that last name). He said that if you can keep the ppl ignorant to the depth of wealth, keep them consumed with their daily lives and yet keep them basically able to get by.. surviving and to be able to meet their basic needs, you can get away with anything. You can sell the floor from under them before they even recognize it has changed colors.

They already have a large control over the media. They are not watching every move you make like with a camera, but they are monitoring everything electronic - your emails, records of who you called and who called you, records of what you purchased online or by debit and credit card, etc.

The vast majority of people and what they do will be ignored. But if the government has something against you - perhaps you are an active political opponent of Bush and the right-wing - they will dig into your data and use this against you.

They might wiretap your phone to get information they can use against you. Maybe they'll have the IRS give you "special attention". Perhaps you'll be arrested as an enemy combatant with no right to an attorney or hearing. Bush only needs to suspect you to do this, and no one can dispute his supposed "suspicion". He doesn't even have to tell your family or anyone else what happened to you or where you are. You can be "disappeared". Or maybe you're cheating on your wife and someone will threaten to tell on you. Perhaps they might try to kill you.

I'm not saying exactly what the government is doing - we really don't know - maybe we'll find out now that the Democrats are in charge and they'll be holding extensive hearings - I hope - to find out what has been going on for the past 6 years. And Bush and Cheney will be forced to testify separately, in public, and under oath. So they will be able to be prosecuted for perjury (in addition to their actual crimes) if they are caught lying.

The ultimate goal is power and money. Control of the government, and the ability to make money by use of their power. Just what they are doing now in Iraq.

Finally i believe that this conspiracy is very likely to exist. The goals of it is power and wealth certainly and the control of the hole world. Some people believe that this story has also a spiritual relation but someone can agree with that if he believes in god. But even if it has to do with the control of the world and all nations it is still a very important story

Yep, Big brother is watching. Yep, they are trying to control the media. What do I think they are up too? Control of the mob to go a long with their plan. What is their plan? Who knows, but it's probably not so sinister that we couldn't understand, because all of these things are driven by underlying human desires. Maybe they just want to make a lot of money so that they can eat expensive food and the deficate it out on a gold toilet seat.

I really don't think its a conspiracy, but if you think you and your actions are shrouded by a cloak of invisibility, you are diluding yourself. It's like the people who use peer to peer services who thought they wouldn't get caught. More and more of them are being reeled in. When it comes to political corruption, the biggest threat to our way of life stems from the country's open border, and politicos trying to keep it that way. If you don't believe this, wait until every job Americans used to have is outsourced to illegals or overseas. When the middle class dies, America will be run by the rich with an iron fist.

i opt for to positioned pretend, having said that i opt for to positioned real. i don't experience like 'vast brother is staring at everybody, yet to some degree, i think like some human beings are being watched contained in the international. that is a scary feeling, yet with how more desirable present day technologies is, i believe at the same time as it contains 'vast brother', it truly is feasible. I merely do not have information to diminish back me on it. very sturdy question :)

Sure, I believe in all that. However, I am comfortable in the fact that I don't care WHO watches my actions because I'm not doing anything wrong.
