Ok, so i can spend Around $1000 to buy a computer, but i cant decide whether to buy a PC or a Mac. I will use either one for playing games like World Of Warcraft, listening to music, watching and burning videos, and surfing the web, please help me decide!!!

Both computers are very good in their own way, but the difference in available software has got to be 100:1 in favor of the PC. Further, there is tremendously better availability of games for the PC. I have both a Mac and PC and I love the Mac -- but there's just no software available for it once you're outside the audio/video/graphics realm.

Get a Mac Mini. It can do the same things a PC can, and sometimes even outperform it. Just buy a monitor, a mouse, and a keyboard so you can use it.

PC's get more games and they come out for them quicker. Macs are better for those of us who know little to nothing about computers and you don't have to deal with so many crashes and viruses. Which is more important to you?

Thanks to the proprietary - and thus extremely overpriced - Mac hardware, you will be able to get a much better PC for the money. I would even recommend building it yourself; you can build a powerhouse of a machine for $1,000.
HornySmile is an idiot, Mac vs. PC has nothing to do with resolution whatsoever.

Please get a PC instead.

Get a PC. It's cheaper, more stuff comes out for it, and most competent people can deal with its problems.
