I don't know if you're familiar with the song "Christmas in our Hearts" by a Filipino artist named Jose Mari Chan but it's very beautiful. Simple yet it captivates the spirit of X'mas. I also love the song "Give Love on X'mas Day" by Jackson 5 and My Chemical Romance's version of "All I Want For Christmas". Swell! =)
Christmas in our Hearts
By: Jose Mari Chan
Whenever I see girls and boys
Selling lanterns on the streets,
I remember the Child
In the manger as He sleeps.
Wherever there are people
Giving gifts, exchanging cards,
I believe that Christmas
Is truly in their hearts.
Let's light our Christmas trees
For a bright tomorrow
Where nations are at peace
And all are one in God
Let's sing Merry Christmas
And a happy holiday,
This season may we never forget
The love we have for Jesus
Let Him be the One to guide us
As another new year starts
And may the spirit of Christmas
Be always in our hearts.
In every prayer and every song
The community unites,
Celebrating the birth
Of our Savior, Jesus Christ
Let love, like that starlight
On that first Christmas morn,
Lead us back to the manger
Where Christ the Child was born
So, come let us rejoice
Come and sing a Christmas carol
With one big joyful voice
Proclaim the name of the Lord!

I believe in Father Christmas by Greg Lake.(1975) I love the lyrics and the melody. Sleigh Ride by Leroy Anderson(1948).
Loved it since I was a kid in the 1960s. The Christmas Song by Nat Cole(1946). Mel Torme & Robert Welles wrote a classic when they wrote this one. White Christmas by Bing Crosby(1941). Oscar winner for best song by Irving Berlin. Berlin was Jewish and Russian. He also wrote God Bless America. I think Berlin is the greatest songwriter of the 20th Century...along with Lennon & McCartney. Last, I love Merry Christmas Darling by The Carpenters because I love love love Karen Carpenter's voice.

"Silent Night" its such a beautiful, slow song. It also expresses a lot of what Christmas is about.

it's not a traditional song but it would have to be Celebrate Me Home by Kenny Logins. I don't get to see my family much and this song always makes me think of them.
