I'm sixteen years old with the same size chest but I'm 5'3 and 125lbs and I usually wear a size medium shirt but I would go to the store and look at the size chart because I'm serious there are so many brands out there and they don't have standards for sizes.
And make sure you have a receipt because since she's seventeen she might not like what you pick out. I know I hate when other people shop for me.

You will need to go to a department store that has a qualified fitter and give her this information. She will be able to help you. The problem here is the petite size she will need to have for her size does not usually allow for the larger bosom and that might require a skirt and matching blouse combination. If you want it right get trained help. There may now be a dress to accomodate this young ladies figure but a few years ago a dress for her would have to be loose at the bottom to fit correctly at the top. I wish you luck with this....

i would get a medium dress, jacket a large just to make sure that it will close and shirt it all depends on the shirt if it is button up i would get a large so that the buttons dont look like they are going to pop off, but if its not a button up i would do a medium, and then just to be safe get gift receipts in case you got something to small or big then she can take it back and get the right size, good luck

it depends on their measurements, you can be 5 feet 5 and wear anything from a size 2 to a size 22. It all depends on how you are built.

for the others who answered he is saying " 17, 5 feet tall"

she is 17 y/o and is 5' tall and weighs 115 pounds

to the asker, is there a way to ask her parents? or maybe peek at a label in a jacket laying around?

don't be idiotic.
as if this girl would need an XL!!
just buy her a t-shirt that gives extra boob space. Im pretty sure a size small would do it though.
if you buy her something that big its going to be VERY saggy around her stomach. this girl is thin- if she's 1.75 cm tall and weighs 115lbs then definatly do not even enter any form of 'L' catagory. you sound pretty much correct with sizing. but im thinking maybe even XS.

good luck
=).

I suggest you go consult a fashion specialists at shopping mall. Sizes and cuts differ from brand to brand and style. One can't generalised sizes. Alternatively, if you have a picture of your friend, bring it to the fashion specialists, they would be able to provide you the guidance on the size.
