Did it work?

I tried it in high school with some friends just becuase we were curious. It worked, I mean the thing moved around with our hands on it, but it was more of a joke than anything. It happened that we were doing it at a friend's house that was right next to a graveyard, and the "spirit" told us where he was burried and what his name was, and we actually went and checked it out at night (oooohhh, scary) but the grave wasn't where the spirit told us, and we didn't find it at all. After that we kind of lost interest. People who actually put faith into that stuff are wierd.

as a kid we experimented with an ouija board and the owner of the board had his hands on it every time it actually seemed to work otherwise it did not make any sense as to where the pointer went. We were told by a preacher the thing was not good to play with as it could pose a problem for us delving in the evil spirits and such...he asked us to burn it and offered to refund the owner what he had paid for it....he told us we would be more amazed when it was burned than by anything we thought it had to say while playing with it. We built a bonfire out back of the church parsonage and burned the board it was one of the older ones that was made out of wood, this was back in the mid 70's. The board when burned screamed.....gave me the weirdest goose bump feeling I have ever had in my life. The screams were more like squealing girls. I will stand on this as being the honest truth as I was involved in the whole thiing. Now for the spoiler..............

later in life I realized the board was made out of some type of soft wood, pine probably and when pine sheeting is burned it squeeks and squeals from the wood twisting and stressing due to the heat.

What ever you do, do not mess with a Quija board. Unknowingly, you will summon demons wating to posess your body. You willingly by asking them questions - will give them permission to enter your body and take over you. Your life will change, and you and your friend will beging to feel different. Perhaps a demon of depression will enter your body. Or a demon of suicide will control your every day life, until you feel you want to harm yourself. I'm not trying to scare you, but demons are real, and there is no such thing as ghost. Read what the Bible has to say about the dead. >>> And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment (Hebrews 9:27). So you see, they cannot come back. This is the word of God, believe in it, she doesn't lie. Burn or brake it in pieces or the day will come when you will regret even touching it.

I first started playing with a Ouija board when I was about 8 years old. I kind of got addicted. I thought I was talking to my great grandmother at first ... later my grandfather ... along with some various other "spirits". When I was in high school, a friend of mine and I started using it together. We would stay on the Ouija board for hours at a time. Once, she stayed overnight with me and we talked for close to 13 hours straight. Some really wierd things started happening with my friend. She started talking to people that I couldn't see ... she started writing things on paper and saying that someone else was holding her hand and communicating with her that way. I thought she was just trying to freak me out. That was until I started seeing the people too ... they were fuzzy at first, but the more I spoke to them the clearer they got.

I backed off for awhile after that, until I started spending time with a new friend who liked to mess around on the Ouija board. We thought it was all in good fun, and even convinced another friend who was deathly afraid of them to join in.

The 3rd friend and I went on a trip, and due to a misunderstanding, our hotel reservations didn't come into effect until the following morning. We decided that, instead of spending more money for an extra night, we'd just hang out in the parking lot of the hotel until we could check in. We got bored, started telling ghost stories, and then decided to make a homemade Ouija board on the back of a Krispy Kreme doughnut box. I won't go into the details here, but that night and the following days I learned that they are VERY REAL and not just fun and games.

Playing between the spirit realm and our realm is risky business.

Yes! Maybe a little too well. My best friend and I played with one many times. We let some really scary stuff into my house. I would never play with one again. I don't recommend you do either. We would put a bible over the goodbye and it would slam the glass into the bible. That says evil to me. Ooooo I am creeped out just thinking of all the weird stuff that happened when we played with it. On to happy thoughts.

I used my mom's ouija board many times and it works for me. I am able to do it because I have a ghost watching over me (according to the board) The older the board, the better it works because it's got history and been aged and what not. It also works better if everybody in the room believes what is going on. If you have someone who is skeptical, it doesn't work as well.
