Who else thought that the Eragon movie canibalized the book?

Question

A list of some of my complaints-
1. Both the Ra'zac getting killed. This totally destroys the plot for the second book.
2. Urgals look like humans instead of orcs or ogres as I and all my friends percieved them.
3. Arya is nice instead of a biotch. That is one of the things I liked about her in books.
4. Gil'ead was just one small building. The giant town of Gil'ead has been reduced to a tiny building.
5. Trip to Dras-Leona and Teirm omitted. These were two parts I especially liked in the book. They have taken out Jeod, and the trap in Dras-Leona at the church.
6. Angela is hot. I was under the presumption Angela was an old witch, and she has no werecat in the movie.
7. Final battle scene. I would have liked to seen more of a battle and less of fancy flying.
8. Saphira magicly getting bigger. She goes and flys, and comes back a full grown dragon.
9. Ra'zac looking weird. I thought they had a beak for pecking Roran's shoulder.
These are just the complaints I can fit.

100% agree but then again most times hollywood gets their hands on a good story they kill it. pretty disapointing for me.
not even wanting to see the next one. looks like it will be a straight to DVD.

I think the book is a rip-off of "Dragonriders of Pern".
