You need to ask hubby where he has been. LOL! Just kidding sweetie. Intercourse shouldn't be painful or burn. You need to get to your ob/gyn and tell them so they can check you out for some type of infection. Don't wait either. Go now.

YYEEEE-HAAAAWW! I know what you mean girlfriend!! I am in my 30's and I have two kids. With my first baby I felt that stabbing, piching pain, and I felt like it was dialating. When I went back to the doctor the next week, I was right!! I had dilated 1cm to 4 cm.s!!! So with my second baby, I knew what it felt like to dlalate so we had intercourse ALOT!!! during my last couple of weeks and guess what??? Yes!!! I dilated quickly in a week and had my son a week early!! Its a sudden tightening or piching feeling inside. I would do it on and off for a few hours afterwards every time we (you know) . It worked for me. The pain could be also just the pressure of the baby dropping down now. Your getting close to your 40 wks. It gonna get More uncomfortable too!!! Good Luck Momma!!

First check with your doctor to rule out the std/sti possibility, but hopefully it's exactly what CountryGirl said. I experienced the same thing when I got closer to my due date. The cervix can begin preparations for labour well before the main event, so don't panic at 33wks.
Don't quit having sex, either. Prostoglandins in the semen help soften and prepare the cervix, and so does nipple stimulation. Both help towards a swifter, easier labour without endangering the baby.

Go and get tested right away! Tell your dr. that you were having pains during intercourse and insist on testing for std's and sti's, too. There is a slight difference between the two - sexually transmitted infections, like trichomoniasis for example, can go undetected for years without any symptoms at all, and your dr. can do a culture swab that takes two seconds, and look at cultures under a microscope without having to wait long for test results. Anyway, if it is 'trich', then a few pills will get rid of it and there should be no harm to your baby. If it is something else, then all the more reaon to get tested a.s.a.p. Good luck
