not familiar with that software, however, there are several photo imaging software choices available as trial downloads. Fireworks is an awesome image editor that can easily replace the black and white of your picture with color. Also Paint Shop Pro by Corel is a good choice. (and inexpensive) To replace the area with Fireworks simply click on the paint bucket tool then choose the color you want to replace it with in the properties panel. Good Luck!
