I recently upgraded to IE 7. As a general rule it is working fine but for one

I just tried it and I didn't have problem. Weird.

As for the icon problem... try restarting your computer. Double-check that you're hitting all the [OK] buttons (we all flub up now and then)

I feel a bit odd suggesting this, but if you're into cool icons and you like IE7... why don't you give Firefox a try?

Yes, you can have it in your system beside IE7... it'll copy over your bookmarks, and you may find that Firefox's customizability and security will win your heart in the end.
