The funeral home should offer a variety of containers for storing the cremains. Good Luck

You should inquire at the funeral home, They can put you in touch with the people who have all the special receptacles for this purpose. Some of them are beautiful, and can be displayed on a dresser, buffet, or anywhere in your house. Some are brass or china and are very decorative. They can also give you a plate with a special saying or just the name & date.

A lot of people mix them in with cement and have that poured into a mold that has a really pretty saying on it and put it in a garden or flower bed.

The first thing to figure out is where. You can keep them in an urn on the mantel, put them in a columbarium, or scatter them somewhere. Once you know where, you can figure out a suitable container for them.

this may sound kind of odd, but have you considered mixing her ashes with either clay or concrete and having a sculpture made in her memory? i have known a few people to have done this, and they have the sculptures still today.

Well, for about $2000. you can convert her to a diamond and pass it on as a family heirloom, it's better than an urn.

my dad requested his ashes be thrown in a lake (his favorite lake) go and get them and put them in her favorite place to go or be. Be carefull though in some states scatering them in a lake is illegal.
