Go to your local mall and look for an "authorized dealer" kiosk that sells cell phone service. They work on commission so they're usually kinda thirsty. All they have to do is change your birthdate. Your probably gonna have to put down a deposit 'cause you don't have any credit. You could be thirty years old and not get a contract if you ain't got no credit. Sprint has the cheapest deposit, it's like $150 bucks.

yep, listen to your parents. My daughter did what you're about to do. She's now 21 & just barely fixing her credit. She gave up everything just to have a cell & a car. Oh &.... the boyfriend is long gone.

If you have a dedit card and your credit is ok you can get a phone contract, when the ask for your birthdate put a date in that will show yourself older..It's kind of crud but it will get you a phone. do it on line it's easier and you wont have to go through all the red tape

You should get a pay-as-you-go phone. Virgin Mobile has good phones, including Razr's, and its really cheap. Everything is included, voicemail, call display, everything! You don't want to screw up your credit, so play it safe. You don't want to be fixing your credit and kicking yourself in 10 years.

nope. by law only your parents can sign for you to have a contract. there is no way your bf can co-sign a legally binding contract for you. sorry kid....get a track phone....they cost more, but they don't require a contract.
