Hmm... in theory, if you started playing music over Remote Desktop, once you close the RD connection the sound should start going through your desktop's speakers. Try starting a playlist over Remote Desktop, and then close the connection. See if the sound starts to come out of the desktop's speakers then.

Wen u use a Remote Desktop connection, the sound plays from your Laptop using RDP connection. This is by default.

If you want to play the sound as you wished, try chaning the options of Remote Desktop.

1. When typing the IP/hostname in your Laptop, u'll have an "Option" button. Click on it.
2. "Local Resources" tab. Open it.
3. There u'll have option for "Remote Computer Sound". Here you can choose what ever mode you need.
4. Thats it...

i trust you should use a LAN (community section community) hub to do what you want. I have under no circumstances had the favor to apply one, yet in case you ask an section computing gadget shop on your section, they ought to have the means which could help you get the kit, and with setup. basically make sure that you do positioned your music into shared information on all the pcs. you may also use memory sticks to move music record between pcs, that may probably be a more cost-effective selection to a LAN hub. for sure, once you've ohter makes use of for community the pcs, like multiplayer gaming, bypass with the hub. which could be good for LAN activities.
