My BF and I have sex a lot (not complaining!) I am middle aged and recently I have noticed that sometimes when we are making love my vagina lets out air (kind of like passing gas). I find it very embarassing and need help finding an answer to this question or direct me to where I can get an answer. I am not trying to be crude or rude or offensive - I just want an answer as to why this happens and how to stop if from happening.

It is caused from the thrusting...air gets in and has to come back out. It is normal, even though we don't like it...

ugh! i have had that too! and my bf even laughed at me! i immediatley stopped all activity cause i was so embaraassed i just put my head int he pillow for liek 5 minutes while he was trying to make me feel better about it... =( it is definately embarassings its happened to be a few times... people call it a qweef(sp?) but when the penis/fingers/objects enter the vagine they could push air in there. and if you switch a position or somethgin it can be released. causing it to sound liek a fart....it is definaelty embarassing. havent had any lately. but unfortunatley cant tell you the answer on how to prevent them.. but all it is is air that is puched into the vagina.. most men dont care though.. my bf stopped caring after the time he laughed. lol

When a woman relaxes a lot sometimes this happens. Some women tense up their vagina to stop this because, yes, it is embarassing. That will prevent you from orgasming though. What is happening to you is called queefing & it's very normal although a lot of girls won't admit it.

The "pistoning" action of sex, causes a suction. As he pushes and retracts, a pocket of air is sometimes created. As he pushes back in, the air is expelled, creating the noise. Don't sweat it, it happens.

well i'm not sure how to tell you to stop it, but it's caused by air being pushed in during the thrust (for a lack of better words)...i'm sure he's not a novice and has heard this before..so i wouldn't worry about being embaressed. it just happens when...they get going :) as long as you arn't hurting or dry, or whatever..i wouldn't worry...maybe try different positions to see what help.

well its normal its just the air coming back out that was pushed in with sex. nothing to be embarrassed about really but if it bothers you do positions where your butts not in the air like doggy style with your but pushed out all the way for me that one is the worst one. but it is really normal alot of women do it also and alot of women are embarrased by it but if you explain to your bf im sure he wouldnt be grossed by it or anything

Just air that is pushed in you from your BF.Maybe use some lubrication to stop such a tight fit,can also be really fun and different.Have fun enjoy.

I'm a nurse. It's only air. This happens because air is simply in there and it has to escape.

Muscle control is the key....try gently "pushing" while trying to keep your head in the game. What you're experiencing is quite natural.
