well, im going to buy a pc soon, will this pc, mainly to play counter strike source only, and web browsing, i wont be playing new games, just CS:S. tell me if this this will give me good prefomance (60-70 fps)
AMD Athlon™ 64 3800+
2gb 533mhz ram
80gb HDD with data burst technolgy
and a geforce 7300 GS 256mb video card
305 watt PSU (I know this is low, its a dell)
with everything on low, 800x600 resolution, do you think i will be able to achive 60-70 fps?

well..... i think the cpu is way better than my celeron right now, so when it comes to loading times, i think im fine.
also, in counter strike source, theres tons of mod/code to enable to make the game run better, ie: low poly gun skins, .cfg files

also, i will sometime after i get it add a stick of 512mb in there to boost overall prefomance, hehe

If you turn everything to the very lowest setting, then you should be able to get in that range, but not any more at all. If this is a configurable PC, I would suggest dropping the RAM down to 1 GB and putting that money into a better card, you will get more performance htat way.

yea u can probably get 60 fps even at 1024x768, only thing u may think about is the cpu, u may want to get a better one if u want things to load faster but that one will do.

Well it should give u more then 60-70 FPS...so dont worry. u can also play new games too.
