KODAIKKANAL
A sleepy, beautiful hill station situated in the Palani Hills, 120 km from Madurai, is Kodaikkanal. It has a star-shaped, man-made lake called Kodai lake. Kodai has an observatory from where one can observe the stars. Vaigai dam, Shola Falls, Silver Cascade (8 km) Kumbakkarai Falls (65 km), Berijam lake (21 km), Perumal peak, Kukkal Caves (40 km), and Dolmen's Circle (22 km) are some of the sites that may be visited. Palani temple (44 km) is a pilgrimage center. It is one of the six abodes of Lord Subramanya.

OOTY
Located in the Nilgiris known for its fragrant tea, Ooty or Ootacamund or Udhagamandalam's major attractions are wooded blades and an enticing lake. The lake was artificially dug in 1824. On way to the Queen of Hill Stations from Coimbatore lies Coonoor. It is the second largest hill station in the Nilgiris at an altitude of 1858 mts. Trekking and gliding can be undertaken in Ooty. Fishing in the streams and lakes are also allowed. Ooty: Wild is beautiful
How to reach: The nearest airport is Coimbatore, 100 km, which is connected to Chennai, Bangalore and Mumbai. Ooty is connected to Mettupalayam by narrow guage railway. There is regular rail service from Mettupalayam to Chennai and Coimbatore. By road Ooty is well-connected. It is 535 km from Chennai via Salem and Mettupalayam and 89 km from Coimbatore. There is bus service to all places.

From bangalore there are several tour operators oiffering packaged tour with accomodation and food. The packages will cover bangalore mysore ooty and kodai.but coorg you will have to do seperately.

There is NO snow in India's southern mountain resorts! It's just too warm. The average night temperatures are above freezing, and it drops below freezing only on clear nights.
If you want snow, you have to head to the northern resorts.
