I just watched "An American Haunting" and thought it was pretty creepy. There's not alot of action but a good plotline. You have to really pay attention to figure out what's going on at the end. Also, the entire feel of the movie is scary ... not just the haunting scenes.

A Tale of Two Sisters. If you don't mind subtitles. Another good one is Frailty is another good one. The Exorcist is really scary.

Poltergeist still freaks me out. Psycho (the origional), Amytiville Horror (the first one), The Shining (Jack Nicholson one) and never forget Rosemary's Baby. Heck, even the Birds (old black and white) is freaky.
