Me and my friends were messing around on the street in my coldasack, and one of my neighbors told me to get lost, and if I wanted to mess around do it front of your house or hes calling the cops... It was at 10:00, and it is on a public street. Could he have called the cops and got me in trouble? I don't think we were going past a noice ordinance...

It depends. If you were disturbing the neighborhood's peaceful enjoyment (and I'd be pissed if a bunch of people were horsing around at 10pm at night and maybe waking my kids up), and the police were called, they could tell you to disburse. If you refused, you could be cited for disturbing the peace.

Which begs the question, why were you hanging around someone else's house, bugging them, rather than annoying the people in your own house?

I would check on the curfew laws, and to make sure there is not a regulation in a neighborhood organization. You may even have to worry about a disturbing the peace citation also. There are many things to consider in this case. I would apologize to the neighbor personally, and let him/her know that you will keep it down, and feel free to let you know if you are too loud again. That way, instead of the cops, he'll just yell for you to keep it down.

6am-10pm is the noise curfew. They could call-but you wouldn't get into trouble really-police have to give a 'warning' first. They will tell you that if they come back then-what will happen. You could get into trouble if you fall under a curfew law-because of your age(i don't know how old u are)-they would have to take you in to a juvenile center-until your parents picked you up.

Excessive noise, even in public can get you in trouble. So can being out making noise after 10 p.m. if you are a minor without an adult.

No, legally you are able to do whatever you want as long as you are not disturbing the peace (being too noisy) and are not on his property (because that would be trespassing). Simply being on the street would make the cops laugh in his mean face. ;)

If you were being a public disturbance, chances are you would probably be taken home but they could get you in trouble.

10 PM is a usual curfew time, and police enforceable.

Keep your buddies with you til 9:45 in the culdesac if you want, then send them home.

Idle threats, idle threats... besides, if the police actually did come, you'd probably just get a warning. They wouldn't want to waste their time with something like that, unless they're overambitious and very bored.

What you say is fairly incomprehensible. "Do it" in front of his house? what does that mean?

If there a curfew? He can call the cops if you are a public nuisance and he asks you to stop.
