No more than $400 wk. Will be going in March. Prefer beach house. Traveling with 2 kids and Husband.

The Outer Bank of North Carolina, Wrightsville Beach and Kure Beach are all gorgeous, relaxing beaches. You should google these and you will see you have a huge selection. I have spent a lot of time at these beaches and the South Carolina Beaches as mentioned in another answer. (Myrtle Beach) Myrtle Beach in SC is more commercialized and busy. I prefer Wrightsville Beach in NC. One thing, I am sorry to say there is nothing available, I am almost positive, for $400 per week. I am so sorry to tell you this. It is pretty surprising that the homes at these beaches are as expensive as homes in Hawaii. Good luck! Oh yeah, the beaches are so beautiful and you can swim in them ( you may know that), therefore you may not need a pool.

For a "nice peaceful vac in NC by beach and pool"?
My suggestion would be the North end of Myrtle Beach. I don't know if you would find a place for $400.00 per/w?

Look for timeshare rentals web sites and see if someone have one for rent. Then you will access to a kitchen and you can cook while on vacation.
