Need help with Fire emblem?

What do I have to do to kill the black knight, I get my turn then hit him, but when it's his turn he kills me, I don't get a chance to heal Ike with Mist after I take my turn and he takes over half my life.

Find the special shield in the hidden room on that level. Just walk straight through what appears to be wall a few paces after the previous battle.
