can you tell me where I can get recording equipment for a good price?

My friend who lives in Chino, California, United States needs to find some cheap recording equipment for his band, any ideas ? I already suggested ebay.

have you tried overstock.com, they have really good prices on electronics. But i do agree with the above answer too, pawn shops are awesome for that stuff.
