Just 7 years ago my father passed away on my birthday ..
It was the sadest thing that happened to me on my birthday.

I'M sorry to hear that.... My sad birthday is when I blew the candle on top of a burger instead of a cake becoz My parents that time had no money to buy me a birthday cake...

My husband was serving with the US army in Iraq for his most recent birthday and he got attacked by a truck full of explosives. Luckily his life was spared, but he was severely injured and lost most of his hearing because of it. What a terrible birthday...

Since my birthday is the day before my brother's, I always got half of a cake and no party because no one wanted to come to a party with half a cake.

Sorry for your loss.
On my 21st birthday (March of this year), my husband and I were visiting friends and we stayed with them. My husband actually left me home alone all day, and when he came back he told me that he had spent the day with his friends, then wished me a Happy Birthday. I was so upset, and mad as hell. My parents made up for it though because when I came home I had all kinds of jewelry and stuff waiting for me!

Every one forgot about it! No one said Happy Birthday to me! My mom and dad and brother and whole family forgot and all my old friends forgot too!

aw that is sad.
well the worst thing to happen to me on my birthday was that I was out of town and used someones toilet, it tipped over when I tried to get up, and all the water came rushing out and it was laying on the floor blocking the door so I couldn't get out. it was so embarrassing.

no, I have been lucky. The worst thing that happened was it snowed once, and my birthday is in July!
