I am not pregnant and i know this for a fact. I'm on medication right now to fight away at some cysts on my ovaries. The doctors have not yet diagnosed me with anything. While very worried due to my condition i keep getting new symptoms...my breasts are also very sore and tender and my right breast is leaking a thick mucous. Has anyone experienced anything like this, and if so does this sound like something that could be linked to cancer?

I have the same problem. I have PCOS and have had breast discharge for 3 years now. You do need to go to the doctor, They will prolly do a Prolactin level on you and maybe even a breast ultrasound to rule out cancer. Mine was just a hormonal symptom of PCOS. I was scared to. The only way to clear your mind is to see your doctor.

This my not help at all, but here's what happened to me!
I was leaking a thin black liquid from my nipples. I went in for a mamogram. The lady shoved my shoulder so hard, I (still) complained a week later with pain. I had the doctor check me out in the shoulder area. He found a mole that was forming cancer. I would be dead by now because that was 1996. They removed it before it could kill me! I said I couldn't see my back so God made liquid come out my breast to get my attention. I felt it was a devine message.
My point is go ahead and get the doctor to examine your back for possible changing moles. God may be telling you something the only way he can. If I'm wrong, at least you will know you're clear of problems on your back. And you'll never hear me say "Made you look!" Yes, I have a sense of humor, but I have loads of compassion. If my experience helps you or anyone, I feel better than if I had made you laugh!

Discharge from breast is often seen w fibrocyctic breast disease- which I have been diagnosed w= and my sister- cutting out the caffeine and chocolate does wonders- sometimes it is related to cancer or a brain tumor-(very rare-) let md know- call him and let him know what is up=D

If your breast are very sore and leaking...you probably have an infection in you mamory glands. Cancer...probably not. But go see your doctor to get the infection cleared up.
