I have been taking Ponstan to reduce the severity of my very heavy and irregular periods. Has anyone used it for something other than pain?

Girlie you are better off without pain killers. I am not sure if "ponstan" is safe. I used to use 1/2 a combiflam and it worked fine. Any other light dose with "paramcetamol" also works. The best medicine which worked for me was taking a regular dose of "iron" supplements in the liquid form, something as an apple during the periods also helps.

But please check if your periods are of 3 days or 5 days or more. If your periods are less than 5 days there will be a lot of bleeding.
