address bar?

Question

on computer top of screen were it says address bar.you can click on the tab and it has websites that we have been to.why are they there and how do i remove them?

I believe all you have to do is just delete your internet history. Go into Tools> Options>, and if you're using Internet Explorer the first window that pops up- under "Temporary Internet Files" you can click on the button that says "Delete Files." Then under that, "History," click on "ClearHistory."

If you want to disable or clear the "Auto-Complete" function (when you begin typing a URL and the address bar finishes it for you as a 'suggestion',) just click on the "Content" tab and then the last section where it says "Auto-Complete" you will click on that button. Check or un-check the boxes that you wish, make sure you click on "Apply" at the bottom of the window and then "Okay." That should do it for you.

equipment then sparkling history. Then on your top left of the Yahoo device bar there's a yellow icon that appears like pencil. click on it then click on sparkling history. once you've Explorer 7 click on equipment, flow to internet ideas then flow to an icon appears like clock, click on delete then a drop down menu looks click on sparkling all.

If "Auto Complete" option is ON in your settings, the address gets stored in your computer and it gets listed . To clear that , go to Tools->Internet option->Contents->Autocomplete . You have options in that to clear and to remove the websites .
