Wearing shoes in the house is a big no-no in my home. I think it is a Canadian thing (and Japanese) to remove your shoes in a house. I could be wrong though.

As for socks, I love taking them off after a day of being on my feet all day. I won't wear them unless it is cold.

I always wear socks even though I hate them. If I am walking in my kitchen & I step on a crumb of something, barefoot, I get angry.

Socks sometimes but eventually they come off. We don't wear shoes in the house either because the carpeting is a light beige color. I think it is just the fact that the whole house except the kitchen is carpeted so not to ruin it we take them off. I love going bare-footed anyway unless I am cold.

We are moving into a house in a month or so that has hardwood floors so I am thinking as long as it is cold we will be wearing socks most of the time.

If i'm warm, i will bypass barefoot. If i'm chilly i favor to positioned on socks, yet going round sock-footed in my residing house is a foul theory because some human beings continually positioned on their shoes interior the residing house and for that reason music in water and mud and such, so i have began wearing slippers besides.

I usually wear socks around my house. We have a rule about no shoes in the house too. I think we tend to wear socks around the house because it gets cool in this part of the country. When guests come over they always take off their shoes before they come past the door. I love just walking around without shoes on. I have actually had people come to my house and discover that taking your shoes off keeps the house cleaner and it is more comfortable. They now require everyone to take their shoes off in their homes as well.

The minute I step foot in my house, taking off my shoes and socks is typically one of the first things I do. I love the feeling of being barefoot after a whole workday in shoes. It's one of life's simple pleasures that I thoroughly enjoy. If it happens to be cold, I wear this really soft pair of yellow smiley face slippers I have had for years. In fact, I'm wearing them now. :)

For our korean culture, we are not allowed to wear shoes in the house but socks are allowed...

& I love to wear socks in the house, unless it's clean, because it keeps my feet clean from all those dirty crumbs on the kitchen floor=)

I wear shoes in homes, but I was never taught to take them off. But I like to walk around barefoot a lot too. Very comfy. I just wear what I feel like at that time- no thought put into it.

Barefoot. I live in California and most just walk into their homes and don't remove their shoes. I feel it is best (cleanliness) to remove shoes. I remove my shoes mostly because I go barefoot every chance I get and I feel it's good to let your feet breath after be encased in socks / shoes for so many hours.
