Yup, it's true. The promotion runs until December 21st. You can get a free in store rental for every Netflix return envelope you bring into a Blockbuster store.

ETA - why are they doing this? It's a promotion to get people to switch over to their Blockbuster online service - to give Netflix customers a feel for their BB online Total Access Program where BB customers can rent online and return their movies to the stores and get a free in store rental.

Yes it is true but only for 3 more days.

Once you experience total Access (returning movies to blockbuster and getting another FREE rental) you will want to switch to Blockbuster and drop Netflix. I did.

I have a code that will allow you to try Blockbuster online FREE for 4 weeks. www.blockbuster.com/bbfamily enter promo code:1616TA.

It is awesome I watch so many movies now!

Haven't heard about it.

What i know is when you sign up for Blockbuster online, they mail you the movie then when you're done mail the movie in the prepaid envelope with it.

But when you return the movie in a store you get a free in-store rental. You also get one free in-store rental each month.

Haven't heard of it cause I've been down with Netflix for over a year. If it is true, somebody hit me up. I've got a dozen flaps I can take.
