Is the correct spelling "SalvadorAN", or "SalvadorEAN"?

can it be spelled either way? i thought the correct way was salvadorAN, but it sounds funny. does it matter how it's spelled? or are they both considered correct?

There are at least three correct spellings:

Salvadoran, Salvadorian, and Salvadorean

It's El Salvadoran.
