Is this correct for all / most women? If yes, what are the physiological and psychological reasons for this? How can men adjust to this?

The reason women like it to start a little slower is that they become more turned on as things progress, earlier on when they are not totaly aroused thier vagina pathway is narrower and shorter making it uncomfortable for faster rougher sex at first, later when the vagina has elongated, they are ready for rougher action.

Women like it whichever way you gove it to em them as long as you do it well. The key is hitting the right spots and using a good rhythm she can feel. Each is difference, some like fast tempo some like slow. But slow or fast you have to find the rhythm that she likes.

Women like foreplay. So do men. So start slow to get the party started then get rockin' as you get into it.
No sense pounding away at the start. The party won't last long and you'll both be disappointed.

start slow work way up i lik this so yes i think ,most would agree, makes it feel better. learn to follow the woman give her what she desires. if u can follow her then its simple. hope i helpeld. its just a way of saying workin it slow then shootng up the pace

it depends on the woman.. it depends on her sensitivity.. and it depends on your size... a lot of times its just because they want to get used to your size first... to see if they can accomodate all of you hahaha.. once that's over go for it.. also.. it depends on what type of sex you're having.. whether it'sa quickie before work.. or all niite long lovin'
